How do rate offers work?

When the team answers your ask with an offer, it appears on your rate page with every term listed. Accept it and it applies to edits you submit after that. Decline it, optionally saying why it does not work, and your current terms stay. Or choose Ask for a different rate and name the price you want: that is a new ask, and you can make up to 3 asks in a round. An ask that nobody answers expires after 14 days. No rate yet?
