Campaign rules
The rules every brief carries, the ones a brand can add, and how limits work.
Which rules apply to every campaign?
Three rules are on every brief: the campaign sound, 30 days public after payout, and no bought engagement.
What else can a brief ask for?
A brand can add rules from a fixed list, and every one it turns on is printed on the brief.
Does my edit have to use the exact campaign sound?
Yes. The TikTok sound on your post must be the exact one linked on the campaign.
Is there a minimum number of views before an edit earns?
The brief can set one, and on a flat-rate campaign your own rate can too, in which case the higher one applies.
What is the engagement minimum?
On a per-view campaign it is a floor on likes, comments and shares as a share of views.
Is there a limit on how much one account can do?
Yes. A campaign takes 25 edits per posting account unless the brief says otherwise.
How long does my post have to stay up?
It has to be up when the campaign ends, then public and unedited for 30 days after you are paid.
Which brief rules get an edit rejected?
An edit is rejected for breaking a rule on its brief, using the wrong sound, or bought engagement.
How do I ask about a rejection?
Read the reason on the edit in Activity first, then ask in our Discord if it is unclear.
Still stuck?
Ask in the Discord and someone will answer, usually fast. For anything about money or your account, email us.
